Sofie Mykiel Elliott was born and raised in beautiful Seattle, Washington, USA, where she spent her childhood playing make-believe in the forests and training as a dancer at a performing arts academy. Coming from a family of artists and creators, Sofie was encouraged from an early age to express herself through the arts, leading to over fifteen years in competitive ballroom dancing, a prolific ESL channel, and a budding writing career. With a Bachelorβs degree in French and Communications, she’s developed a deep love of languages: spoken, written, and body. Nowadays, Sofie is based in Regensburg, Germany as a full-time English language teacher to students across the globe. What We Thought We Remembered: A Collection of Warped Memoirs is her first publication, but it most certainly wonβt be her last!
